“A sister is a little bit of childhood that can never be lost.” — Marion Garretty

As a frequent traveler, I love nothing more than exploring new corners of the world, spending time soaking in the sun and culture of beautiful locations near and far. It’s even more rewarding when I can share my travel experiences with the people I cherish most in life!

Recently, I had the privilege to travel to Bora Bora with my sister. There’s just something about sisterhood that makes vacation even better; I think it’s the awesome combination of old memories with the creation of new ones. Those with sisters will understand this special bond, and how shared experiences strengthen it. I never have more fun than I do with my sister, and I have to say, our Bora Bora journey couldn’t have been more of a blast.

For those that don’t know, Bora Bora is a small South Pacific island just north of Tahiti in French Polynesia. The gorgeous climate and crystal-clear ocean waters make it ideal for R&R with a splash of adventure (try scuba diving or snorkeling, you won’t regret it).

My sister and I were able to spend some amazing quality time together catching up over cocktails, laughing in the almost-summer sun (it certainly felt like summer, anyway), and exploring the island. I couldn’t dream of a better companion in a more ideal location.

Stay tuned as I post more about my travels, and enjoy the photos! Nothing can capture the wondrous essence of Bora Bora totally, but hopefully you’ll get the general idea and consider visiting yourself. Need a bungalow mate? It could be a great time to give your sister a ring!
